All of us at Wolfram are saddened, frustrated, and even angry at the division that still stands in our communities and has been so starkly highlighted by recent events. It is a weakness in our country that must be mended for the sake of the generations to follow us. It isn’t enough to go about our days trying to stay clear or just “not be part of the problem” when we want something to change. Racial Equality is our responsibility to make more than just a phrase. Life is hard enough without systematic bias – we can do better. In our own small way Wolfram will begin a campaign of teaching, mentoring, and hiring where we can in our local underserved community. We will be sharing what we have to offer, manufacturing technology knowledge, so our peers have access to opportunities they might not have otherwise.
