CNC Machine Process Operator
Manufacturing Specialist
Description
Produce quality machined parts by monitoring and attending to CNC machine processes while maintaining a safe work environment, equipment, and supplies. This is more than a typical machine operator role. We look for teammates with a strong aptitude for mechanics and the right attitude to get the job done. Prior experience with CNCs is not required but an eagerness and willingness to learn is.
Duties include…
Inspect finished parts for variation or defects.
Follow work instructions and look for opportunities to improve.
Hand finish / debur as needed.
Safely operate CNC milling machines, including material and part handling, machine and tool maintenance.
Log inspection data as required.
Keep shop area clean.
Notify engineering or management of any variations or defects.
Suggest process improvements.
Requirements…
Positive, can-do attitude.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift at least 40lbs routinely (reload bars into machines). Attention to detail.
Bonus points…
Experience with precision measurements, quality control, robotics, forklifts, CNC operations, and/or Okuma or Fanuc machine controls.
Flexibility and eagerness to work overtime as needed.

Schedule
Wolfram runs on a 9/80 schedule. In a 14 day pay period, you’d work 45 hours one week and 35 hours the following. This equates to one additional day off every other week. These days are set with your direct supervisor.
Morning Crew
5am - 2pmMorning Crew
This crew starts up the day and comes into machines running. This crew runs on a 9/80 schedule.
Evening Crew
2pm - 11pmEvening Crew
This crew comes in mid-day to finish out the day strong and kick off overnight lights-out production. This crew runs on a 9/80 schedule.
Weekend Crew

Our weekend crew works 4/10s Thursday – Sunday on the same schedules as Morning/Evening crew.
